DO THE NEXT THING
DO THE NEXT THING
You’ll gain the advantage in any situation through one medium: time
Keeping a little ahead of conditions is one of the secrets of business. The time to repair your roof is when the sun is shining. Try to do things before they need to be done.
Let your advance worrying become advance thinking and planning. Position yourself ahead of time in the best place for you.
When you think ahead of any approaching action you’ll always have the advantage.
You’ll be the winner.
When you do what is necessary, all the odds are in your favor.
Happy New Year!
2016, time to reflect on how you will achieve your goals this year. Not resolutions but goals.
Have you had your planning session yet? If not this weekend offers an excellent opportunity. A pen and notebook, quiet place, and a good drink of your choice. Mozart is excellent thinking music.
Will 2016 be more of the same? That might be good but what else will you do?
Here are areas to consider:
Family, more time, protection (review insurance, wills, etc), trips, or just creating memories
God, worship, service to others
Friends, who are supporting you, who hold you back, how to support them better
Financial, how to get income that comes in whether you work or not, how to increase your worth to your clients or employer, how to decrease debt
Remember if you just do the same, the results won’t change. Aim for the stars! If you land in the treetop, you still succeed.
Happy New Year! 2016 will be your best so far . . .
YOU CAN SEE YOUR FUTURE WITH A VISION
YOU CAN SEE YOUR FUTURE WITH A VISION
Study your present situation thoroughly.
Go over in your imagination the various courses of actions possible to you. Visualize the consequences which can follow from each course. Pick out the course that gives you the most promise, and go ahead.
Many successful people use this skill of mental visualization. They mentally run through important events before they happen.
Picture yourself in your mind’s eye as already having achieved your goal. See yourself doing the things you’ll be doing after you’ve reached your goal.
You can put your subconscious to work towards making your mental pictures come true.
Go over your day in your imagination before you begin it. You can begin acting successfully at any moment.
See the things you want as already yours. Think of them as yours, as already in your possession.
You can see your future with a vision.
And live your dreams.
THE FUTURE IS A BIG ADVENTURE
THE FUTURE IS A BIG ADVENTURE
You need to focus on your future, not your past. Prepare for your future, don’t live in the past. Relish your good memories and use any bad ones as lessons in life.
Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can.
The cards you’re dealt in life are less important than the way you play them.
Every day you face a new deck and new cards.
Carve out a niche for yourself in your imagined future. Begin immediately to think and feel yourself as successful.
To achieve your goal in life, you need to project your end result.
Think of the elation, the satisfaction, the joy you’ll feel when you’ve achieved your objective. Carry these ecstatic feelings with you every day and they will bring your desired goals into view.
Success is waiting for you.
SUCCESSFUL ACTION IS CUMULATIVE IN RESULTS
SUCCESSFUL ACTION IS CUMULATIVE IN RESULTS
Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
Many people take the first step and then stop. Yet, with every additional step you take, you enhance immensely the value of your first step.
All masters of success are chiefly distinguished by their power of adding a second, a third, and perhaps a forth step in a continuous line.
There is no royal road to anything. One thing at a time, all things in succession is the rule of life. That which grows fast, withers as rapidly. That which grows slowly, endures.
Do not despise the bottom rings in your ascent to greatness.
WORK IS REWARD NOT PUNISHMENT
WORK IS REWARD NOT PUNISHMENT
Your success in any occupation depends on your enjoyment.
Loving your work makes the difference. If you enjoy what you do, you’ll be successful.
If you don’t enjoy what you do, you won’t be successful.
Your chances for success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.
If you have a job you hate, face the fact squarely and get out. You’ll never achieve real success unless you like what you are doing.
Success in its highest and noblest form calls for peace of mind, enjoyment, and happiness which comes only when you find the work that you like best.
You don’t pay the price for success. You enjoy the price for success.
Work is love made visible.
LIVE AND ACT IN A SPIRIT OF LOVE
LIVE AND ACT IN A SPIRIT OF LOVE
The place to begin to improve the world is in your own heart, head and hands.
To get along with others, love them without forcing your love upon them.
Imposing your beliefs on people will not bring you peace.
Have concern for others, respect their rights and freedoms, and let them be themselves. Do this and you will enjoy peace.
Having consideration for others is the basis of a good life. Most people are not against you, they are merely for themselves. Let differing ideas clash, but not those of the heart.
Peace comes to you when you live and act in a spirit of love.
DO ALL THINGS WITH LOVE
DO ALL THINGS WITH LOVE
Love is the most important ingredient of life.
Your life echoes emptiness without it. With it, your life vibrates meaning and warmth.
Love will shine through even in hardship.
You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments that stand out, the moments when you have really lived, are the moments when you have done things in a spirit of love.
If you have it, you don’t need to have anything else. And if you don’t have it, it doesn’t much matter what else you have.
Treasure the love you receive above everything else. It will survive long after your wealth and good health have vanished.
The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart.
Life in abundance comes only through great love.
YOU ONLY GET TO KEEP WHAT YOU GIVE AWAY
YOU ONLY GET TO KEEP WHAT YOU GIVE AWAY
It’s a universal law: You have to give before you get.
You must plant your seeds before you reap the harvest. The more you sow, the more you will reap. In giving to others, you will find yourself blessed.
The law works to give you back more then you have sown. Those that obtain have little. Those who scatter have much. The giver’s harvest is always full. Nature does not give to those who will not spend.
This is the time of year to show appreciation to those you love.
